If you forecast doom and why and it happens, and then you say well I tried to warn you, I don't see that as a gloat. We all suffer under a (Tory) govt, and the poor more so. You'd have to enjoy pain to gloat. Don't know why it's a hard concept to grasp but I guess emotions are high. Which they shouldn't be if we'd learnt anything in the last 25 years. Just like trump over Clinton, it was a case of damned if you do or don't. A labour leadership would always have been hobbled, both from within and without, and the steady trickle of bad news would have continued. Like in the us, at least now there are no ideas floating about that maybe the leader will do something great soon, keeping us in our seats.
If we can just move past the childish notion that there's a good leader in the wings waiting to save us, we might be onto something positive!
