None of this huge expansion in any sort of mining, let alone the already critically-restricted commodity of copper, has the smallest likelihood of arriving in reality; not on planet Earth, anyway. Perhaps in a Vulcan-like place far, far away. But then we'd need warp-drive to get there and back with the loot, wouldn't we? And, erm, we seem to not yet know how to build one of those... Meanwhile f(x)=2x, still. That, particularly in its current effects on energy production and delivery, is what is already subjecting growthforever to death by a thousand cuts. (ALL economic activity depends crucially on a constant energy supply to sustain it: no juice, no produce.)
