.......in which case, Corbyn's defeat and supposed abandonment of the true left would be the very best thing to have happened if Boris Johnson lurches so far to the right that even Labour brexiteers might notice a slight problem, and if this then precipitates a true left wing uprising? But as always, it will be circumstances, dear boy, that will decide the issue. A major worldwide melt down will certainly open everyone's eyes to the failure of extreme capitalism - but any revolution is unfortuanately just as likely to lead to some form of fascism than some sort of kind and just and environmentally aware socialism. All bets are off. .
