No Ian. Kemp, a two bit actor from the BBC soap, East Enders, probably possesses little or no knowledge of Julian's case. I think he was getting a vicarious thrill just from being with the low lifes in there, especially a gang of four brothers, the Popes, from the locality. Exchanging high fives. Best buddies. The hero was definitely Robinson. They even showed a demo held in his support outside the prison. Huge costs must have been involved in policing it. GSD handlers were there too. The governor, Davis, was unimpressive. The warders appeared as key turners and door slammers. A deputy governor is a black woman but she seemed to be out of her depth. There were attempts at rehabilitation but it was a token. One of the Pope brothers thought he would take up gardening 'to help old ladies' as he put it, but apparently he was back inside fairly soon afterwards. There were a few female warders in the prison and in the medical centre. 'Solitary' looked terrible. A bare cell. No bed, toilet or washing facilities. Prison. UK. 2020. A pointless and outdated system of punishment. _____ God help Julian, come 25th February. https://www.theguardian.com/media/2019/jun/14/julian-assange-to-face-us-extradition-hearing-in-uk-next-year
