Horror Homes.. Archived Message

What a waste of resources..I've seen (and lived in ), examples of poor new-builds here (unsurprisingly), in Southampton...one horror story includes a friend put under home office section and incarcerated for 6 months in various local area mental institutions for refusing to return to her new flat (she claimed there was a carbon monoxide leak), and "reacting badly" (she was a "service user" because of her family history and badly allergic to certain things -this effects her mental state-), ..she was "reacting badly" because she was right....the place had not been properly finished in the final fixings (which any fool could see), and the carbon monoxide was leaking back into the flat (from the boiler), they found this out when having released her but forcing her to return she was found unconscious on the floor by her social worker..on attending the RSH A&E she was found to be suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning...it gets worse because for six months afterwards she was still being force medicated under Home Office Section only she wasn't..they failed to call her for her injections...on attending review the question was posed...;"..and was there any problem with your treatment?" She had asked me before the review; "what do I do if the ask me about the injections?" I said: "just say you're feeling OK, don't specify unless they force you" She didn't and no further questions were asked..like they didn't know.. Makes you wonder just who is in whose pocket sometimes don't it?..I haven't seen her for a while..her new place was on this estate but she cleared out fairly quickly (she has friends in some of the more rural areas in Hampshire), but she had a very good case for suing the local NHS Trust..I do so hope she was successful....Don't give you much faith do it?
