Colbert has gone from from one of the best to one of the worst; he's really been drinking the kool aid and I can't stand listening to him anymore. He's worse than John Oliver, although he still has some pretty good jokes, but after his disgraceful propaganda piece on Venezuela he's off the register for ever. Bring in Vanilla Ice.

Speaking of establishment mouthpieces, this fawning interview appeared in the fraud at the weekend:

That is just as well, given the way she has polarised viewers in the past few years. Maddow, 46, has presented her primetime show on MSNBC, a 24-hour cable news channel, on weeknights since 2008. If most cable news and social media is fast food, she tries to rustle up a three-course meal: sensible, sober, sometimes painfully detailed and replete with oblique references to half-forgotten politicians of yesteryear. Since Donald Trump’s rise in 2016, however, The Rachel Maddow Show has become a nightly safety blanket for many progressives who identify with the “resistance”.

Vomit and it only gets worse from that counter-factual, arse-licking introduction.

They seem to have forgotten all about this:

With Trump has come Russia: two years of conspiracy-mongering about whether the president, a failed real estate mogul and reality TV star consumed with dubious deal-making, conspired with the Russian government to influence the outcome of the 2016 election. Robert Mueller’s determination that no evidence exists to prove Trump and Russian colluded to fix the election has exposed, once again, the venality of A-list political punditry. At the top of the heap is none other than MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.

Almost as if they think it's been long enough and now it's time to start idolising their figurehead again.
