It's an oversimplification of a complex system. For example - Insect pollinators in untouched forest are dying away because of heating - not good for plants. Some plant growth inhibited by CO2 https://skepticalscience.com/co2-plant-food.htm Some ecosystems are obviously being harmed https://www.dumptheguardian.com/environment/2012/jan/26/giant-trees-dying even if grasslands benefit. Complimentary cyclical change between rainforest and savannah in South America and North Africa with climate change is well recognised and not proof that CO2 is beneficial. Such an easy smear to claim climate scientists are just trying to protect jobs. If atmospheric CO2 is increasing exponentially then it is outstripping plant's ability to sequester it - ergo we will have runaway change if we don't alter our behaviour.
