The idea I've been pondering here lately, Shy - to some disapproval from the crew - is that I have Archived Message

no idea who - at all - to trust. Seems to me that that is a valid subject for TLN, and for Off-G, since both outfits are collections of sceptics who don't buy the corporate lamestream narratives as ever being trustworthy.

Following the murderous mercenary bastard René Descartes famous musings, I ask: What - if anything - can I know with any certainty. He said 'Cogito, ergo sum!' I extend that a bit: On climate shift, I know - fairly certainly - from personal experience that British climate/weather is warmer, and more 'Mediterranean', wet-Winter/dry-Summer than it was seventy years ago; but about all else to do with climate, I'm simply uncertain what to believe. On Covid-19, I have no idea what to believe, since we only have the narratives of the lamestream media and the pocket-pols, and we know - or think we do - that only suckers trust anything they say.

I'm pretty confident that there's some truth in both those topics somewhere. But howTF does a mere groundling like me (or my shipmates) arrive at it with any confidence? I just don't know. So I keep on surfing around through the various competing narratives to try to suss out a credible picture, and meanwhile just wait-and-see...

But - er - the precautionary principle always applies, of course in any case!
