Do you know that within the much vaunted NHS which you praise, the contractors/outsourcers employ staff who work as porters, cleaners, cooks, ward maids, orderlies, receptionists, grounds staff, telephonists and the like, have to come in to work even when they are sick as they are on zero hours, are paid the minimum wage and do not receive any sick pay? Amongst these contractors are Bidvest, Compass and even Serco. The latter currently hold Julian Assange in custody in another of their other ventures.
