Sporting events, concerts, Festivals, theatre... The list is long. Of course you have the freedom to watch it (some of it) on TV. If, again, you can afford a TV. And a licence. I see where the Six Nations (Rugby) rights may be sold to Sky. BBC and ITV proposed a joint bid (just like their previous bid) but were told no joint bids allowed this time. No reason given. There's surely a problem when we let elites decide what our "freedoms" are, and who can indulge. And, indeed, the very meaning of "freedom".
