'Carbs' - that's to say plant-starch - is my staple diet. Does me a world of good! And Der, the idea Archived Message

is that you get a life-review in the Bardo state, with the kindly assistance of the discarnate entities who volunteer to work there - Individuated Units Of Consciousness, just like each of us - when all the shortfalls and errors of the life just ended are contemplated in full memory, kindly and quite unjudgementally, and an agreement - quite unforced - is reached about which of your soul's characteristics need further work in pursuit of the underlying great purpose of growing towards love. A choice of possible newly-conceived morulas (not necessarily always human; Golden Retrievers or wolves would be a favoured option for me, I suspect! ) is suggested as maybe quite promising options; and the newly-disincarnated spirit chooses one - or not, as the case may be; it doesn't seem to involve any forcing - then completes its disremembering process before beginning the new life-experience packet by ensouling the unborn one. Clean slate, fresh start, see how you get on this time round, hold fast to the idea that it's all about becoming love! Good luck! See you again before too long!

Though it's not always a complete memory wipe, as various cases followed up by investigators of reincarnation have found, where toddlers up to the age of 3-5 years show clear memories of their previous lives, families and homes, which check out remarkably when followed up. And then there's past-life-regression hypnosis, which has also turned up a lot of interesting - though not necessarily conclusive - evidence.

The above sketch is drawn mostly, though not exclusively, from the published material of Tom Campbell, physicist, mathematician and veteran shamanic-journeying practitioner, who since his twenties - he's now in his seventies - has been running constant OOBE-at-will journeys* (more traditionally known as shamanic journeying) into these altered states of consciousness, as part of a long programme of methodical experimental investigation of the nature of consciousness - which he asserts in good philosophical-idealism style is the fundamental basis of all reality. (An idea whose time has come - back - with a bang recently.)

Tom states unequivocally that he's visited the Bardo state repeatedly, to investigate it (though I've never heard him use the actual word Bardo, despite his familiarity with buddhist cosmology, which lots of the most impressive theoretical-physicists seem to have...)

He also asserts that all Individuated Units Of Consciousness - aka souls - whether human or other sentient creatures, are all essentially outgrowths of the one Big Mind that runs the whole shebang, which he calls the Larger Consciousness System, and from which we individuated units are never truly sundered. We all remain in the great net.

Is all this accurate? Well, it certainly fits with my experience; and its a kindly and comforting vision of reality. Suits me fine. I'll put a shilling each way on it. I should know before too long now...

PS: Souls which have entered into a relationship with unborn morulas can be asked, kindly and with respect, to relinquish that particular conception, and try again somewhere else. I've actually taken part in such a shamanic ceremony, with a witch SO of mine years ago, who felt that she couldn't contemplate carrying her pregnancy to term and then rearing the child. Within hours the volunteer soul had left again, and she aborted spontaneously.
