Searching her twitter account for 'orban' turns up just this thread from 2019, a retweet of a Nick Cohen article: 'Rachel Riley @RachelRileyRR Apr 26, 2019 So many gems of quotes, another excellent piece from @NickCohen4 “For people who personalise every political dispute, they are remarkably reluctant to accept personal responsibility: a cowardly retreat their underdog poses are designed to hide.” Modern extremism: this time it’s personal | Nick Cohen | Standpoint In Britain, Europe and the US, extremists of the Right and Left use vicious ad hominem attacks to boost their populist appeal… standpointmag.co.uk “They want, indeed they crave, traitors to denounce and quislings to expose as the behaviour of Orban, Trump and Corbyn reveals. How else to unite their followers behind them, and show that, without their leadership, the people will be lost.“ “They are fighting culture wars, and you can’t have a war without an enemy.” “Winners keep winning by behaving like losers and extending their conspiracy theories to cover every aspect of society.” ' - https://twitter.com/RachelRileyRR/status/1121874138845667329 Projection, much? And lumping those three together, what a breathtaking smear... No mention of Orban's actual proven & acted-upon anti-semitism either, as predicted. Meanwhile... 'Rachel Riley @RachelRileyRR Apr 1, 2020 Don’t let the door hit you on the way out [clapping emoji] Quote Tweet Dave Rich @daverich1 Apr 1 Goodbye Jeremy Corbyn. They said you don't have an antisemitic bone in your body. That may be true, but your brain is full of it. Can we remember all the examples? Probably not but I'll have a go /1' - https://twitter.com/RachelRileyRR/status/1245326242045399040 What a repulsive individual... Funnily enough a search of Tom Watson's account turns up zero results for 'orban': https://twitter.com/tom_watson Nil, nada. Ah, to have such brave and principled opponents of the scourge of antisemitism... His account has an idiotic/authoritarian pinned tweet saying: 'For the first time in human evolution our species is united against a common enemy. This is the time for all of us to support @BorisJohnson's measures to deal with a national emergency.' and scrolling down I see fawning 'get well soon' tweets for Matt Hancock and Boris Johnson. But remarkably nothing about Corbyn's departure, and in fact the last time he even mentioned Corbyn was back in September 2019. jeers, I PS: this message was brought to you by the highly useful advanced twitter search function: https://twitter.com/search-advanced
