So that's no bad thing. I'm nearing the end of War n Peace at the moment. Not bad. But certainly overrated. There's an appalling hunting scene in it. Hated many of the main characters after that. Tolstoy, later in life, turned against hunting. Give me Dostoevsky any day. Though Karamazov has way way way too much religion. Got to make allowances for Dos though. The only book available for years in the prison camp where he was for 10 years or so was the bible. It was either that or go crazy. I'd have chosen crazy, myself. Thanks for pointing out where the book is available free. I'm sure it'll suit lots of people. I think it was Michael Foot/Tony Benn's favourite book. Maybe I'll try again some day. I think that's Philanthropist (singular) though. Think Gates. Nah, don't bother.
