I watched some of this on the Parliament Channel.

Committee to search for the truth from Google
    06 March 2020
The Select Committee on Democracy and Digital Technologies will take evidence from Vint Cerf, Vice President of Google and ‘Father of the Internet’ and Katie O’Donovan, Head of UK Government Affairs and Public Policy, in a session that will cover Google’s use of algorithms and the controversy over its misreporting of advertising spending in the recent UK General Election.

    Witnesses
Monday 10 March in Committee Room 2, Palace of Westminster

    At 12.30pm

    Possible areas for discussion
Whether Google believes in ‘objective truth’ and if anyone outside of Google should have confidence in its algorithm’s ability to identify a trusted source of information?
Why Google initially reported inaccurate totals for spending in the recent UK General Election and then refused to correct its mistake?
What limits should be placed on online political advertising and why Google has chosen the restrictions that it has?

    ___

The more times you write or say the wood 'google' the more stupid it seems to be.
