Hunt Snr was also on the board of the local DGH. Hunt Jnr is a property speculator, having purchased several flats in Southampton Marina but acquiring them in his wife's name. Since then ownership has been transferred to a company, Mare Pond etc. His family own a large estate in the Surrey Hills here which he will inherit from his elderly widowed mother. He also has a grand London residence, having made money in selling his company Hot Courses (they gave details of university courses for a fee). He is pals with a local here, Nicholas Roach, who owns a fashionable new hotel which was given to Hunt to use for a Tory gathering. Roach is also the developer/owner of the Southampton flats. He donates to Hunt too.
