Not paywalled https://www.ft.com/content/67e6a4ee-3d05-43bc-ba03-e239799fa6ab The excess is partly due to the care homes deaths which we know have to be added on - but also due to home deaths where Drs wouldn't have given Covid-19 as the main cause of death (I haven't read the article closely yet, so I don't know how they make this estimate). |
