I'm not sure about this bit: "Is the flu less dangerous than covid? Let's look at the death rates, no it's not, they're similar in prevalence and in death rate." (At 29:25) Is that right? Although the death rate for covid may end up similar once enough data is collected, is the prevalence the same? If it was, why have we such spikes in deaths in a given week, much higher than during previous bad flu seasons? He then goes on to make distictions of people dying with covid or from covid, something dan has said is a confection - I agree with this, if someone has COPD or diabetes, yes that's a factor, but they died *now* because of covid. I don't think he talks about healthcare services being overwhelmed, but he works at (and owns) a private healthcare company. Looking at their website, it doesn't seem to me like they're actually treating severe covid patients, or watching them die. He does make the valid point that he's basing his comments on his own statistical data, but I'm not entirely sure I trust this video, it seems a very organised PR event for lifting lockdown.
