Actually, I think the situation here is even worse than suggested - it's like we've woken up in a nightmare and found what we thought was real yesterday was the dream, and one we'll never get back. Yesterday, to make it even worse, we had ANZAC day, when Australians young and old get together to celebrate the needless slaughter in Gallipoli at the hands of idiot commanders. This was the first time there were no public marches since 1942, and everyone made candles and stood outside their homes holding photos of ancient relatives at dawn, while innocent children played the last post... It was like the "Two minute Hate", only 'lest we forget". Lest we forget what the world was like before Brigade 77 and the 5 eyes screwed it up.
