Coronavirus: Furloughed workers urged to become fruit pickers Archived Message

I'm sure they will jump at it. Not.

'Furloughed staff have the right to seek work elsewhere during the shutdown as long as they have the permission of their main employer and are able to complete any training required of them while stood down.

Guidance published on the government's website says those on furlough who take on new work must be ready to return to their normal job at any time and must complete the relevant paperwork making their situation clear to the tax authority.'

Mr Eustice seems to forget these are human beings and fellow citizens, not robots, that he is talking about and whose lives and work he is planning.

Fancy some farm labouring yourself, Mr Eustice?

He comes from a farming family in Cornwall and was a UKIPPER.

Before becoming an MP, he was in the PR game with Portland Communications which was set up by Tim Allan, a BLiar acolyte. He was also Cameron's Press Officer. Enough said.
