Stealing a computer sounds like a felony; but when it's your life work and the company claims to own it, and are obviously going to take it away after sacking you, it's not so clear. I expect the plan was to copy the disputed work and return the computer; people with good medical careers wouldn't be stuck for the price of a computer/notebook. |
