the infection in this meat works happened a month ago, and staff went into Quarantine. But it seems they have only now been tested, or the rest of the workforce tested, as tests haven't been available. But you guessed - because the previous day Victoria announced it would not be relaxing the lock-down yet, unlike other states, amidst all the discussion over whether the curve had flattened sufficiently. Victoria said it wasn't certain yet, and lo and behold, to order there are more cases declared than we've had in the past week! Just another bit of webbing in this fog of disinfo and fear. I suspect the Cedar meatworks might be Halal, and the next thing will be that its processing "live animals" and should be closed down. |
