Today's case hearing for Julian Assange at Westminster Crown Court:
-- Assange too unwell to attend, via video link. This is the second consecutive time he's been unable to participate in hearings of his own case, with his lawyers reporting ill health. Judge Vanessa Baraitser is unmoved by his state of health (which senior Swedish lawyer Mads Andraeas says he finds 'shocking' and disturbing).
-- Journalists trying to dial in via Skype and Videolink for remote attendance (promised by Court during social distancing), were treated to an hour of elevator music because court clerk 'failed' to unmute their microphones - ie no proper, free and fair media coverage, even as Dominic Raab put out tweets yesterday, lauding UK Press Freedom on Media Freedom Day;
-- No bail asked for, no bail granted
-- A small handful of protestors who were standing many metres apart outside court on the pavement (including Assange's dad) were threatened by an advancing phalanx of police with arrest under UK's #COVID19 law if they didn't return home immediately
