The Media I know it's been posted already but I just read it and thought it was excellent and deserved a re-post for anyone who, like me, didn't get to it first time around. There's so much material it's hard to keep up. As Arundhati Roy wrote recently "Who among us is not a quack epidemiologist, virologist, statistician and prophet?" Getting up to speed as a quack in these areas takes up much of one's available reading time, and one misses things.
