Our PM regularly draws on both for his public statements. The problem with relying too heavily on the latter during a crisis (when Trudeau's handlers don't want to leave anything to the chance that is the void) is that technical difficulties make you look like a malfunctioning android. Here he is doing just that for 21 long, silent seconds. It finally gets sorted and the appropriately banal and noncommittal bullshit is whispered into his audioprompter and dutifully repeated.
