"maybe" applies to the question of the effectiveness of any proposal; it's not an answer.
I have advocated a strategy, not "maybe", "we will see".
That strategy comprises, for example: no lockdowns (following the example of others, e.g. Sweden); clamping down on corporations that damage our immunity (e.g. food industry).
You basically advocate: Believe the government narrative and trust the officially sanctioned measures - lockdowns, distancing, masks, vaccines.
But you have some awareness that this might be a stupid position, so you hedge your bets with "maybe" and "we will see".
