Replying to Adamski re: 'death cult train'... I was probably being too concise and should specify that I mean the collapse of civ will be a good thing in the long term. In the short term I expect it will mostly be horrific, though for some it will be an immediate relief (eg: tribal peoples and most of the nondomesticated species) The main point I was trying to make is the disconnect between a social phenomenon (civilisation) which has been causing ecosystem collapse from the start 10k years ago (not just under industrial capitalism) and immiserating the humans and plant & animal domesticates under its yoke, and the environmentalists who say they oppose these abuses yet apparently see the end of what's causing them as an unthinkable horror with absolutely no upsides. To me this shows they're captured by the elite-supporting narrative that this is the only way that people can live and anything else is barbarism, savagery and ultimately extinction. Have a look here for some further thoughts along these lines: https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/jason-godesky-thirty-theses cheers, I
