Hmmm...I rather think you are but I suspect you can't help yourself.
Actually I pointed out on this site at the time that care homes were about to become euphemisms for morgues when the government was still claiming there was no danger to care homes.

It was a policy decision made by the Tory appointed head of the NHS not to "save lifes" but to accord with Tory sacrificial policy as summarised by the PM's top adviser: "...if that means some pensioners die, too bad" and better for appearances if the bodybags stacked up in care-homes rather than in NHS hospitals.
Those hospitals of course have no inbuilt spare capacity themselves because again under Tory dictat, the more beds you removed the more "efficient" the hospital was deemed to be.
Of course the care homes as I likewise pointed out at the time were totally unequipped to deal with a contagious virus and the grossly overworked staff not given proper PPI which ensured the further spread.
