Thanks for this Mary. Three or four years back I was listening to Jim Rickards talking to Max Keiser about the coming global financial catastrophe. Rickards compared the current economic situation to the Titanic disaster where the 2008 crash would correspond to the ship hitting the iceberg. Like the economy the ship remained afloat for a while even though water was flooding the lower decks. (Where the poor live). We've passed that point now, the water is rising rapidly through the upper decks and the ship is about to start sinking fast and this analogy is illustrated perfectly in the graph you've posted. Jim Rickards was right and so was (is) Dmitry Orlov. But we all knew that, right?
