As he points out, whilst the sale of council housing and the utilities is widely known, the sell-off of land is hardly mentioned. We know about the sell-off of school playing fields. We know about the attempted wholesale sell-off of Forestry Commission land a few years back, which caused some controversy. But, it seems the main sell-off has been taking place incrementally and by stealth.
