Hence the result. Self-sufficiency has always been the key in their approach. Opening up their economy domestically may lead to corruption, as it always does. Meanwhile they've probably done better than most that are still in economic free-fall. China doesn't seem to be involved here. At least it is not mentioned in the article. Curious.
