No idea who contributes to the twitter account or what gives them the right to speak for the entire movement but saying something like that just seems totally counterproductive. People on the right aren't going to be persuaded and people on the left (the majority of XR's constituency) are going to be alienated, as you can tell from most of the comments. Coy about coming out against capitalism, but one socialist flies a banner at their rally and immediately they show them the door. Not a good look (though if the SWP show up and start trying to run things their way I'd be more understanding). @Mary - would be interested to see that if you find a clip.
