Amnesty. For sale, bought and paid for. State’s Suzanne Nossel named Amnesty USA executive director November 17, 2011 On Thursday Amnesty International USA named outgoing deputy assistant Secretary of State for International Organizations Suzanne Nossel its new executive director. Nossel, a Harvard-trained human rights lawyer, most recently served as a senior State Department official dealing with the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva. A former aide to the late American diplomat Richard Holbrooke at the United States mission to the United Nations, Nossel previously held senior positions at Human Rights Watch, the Bertelsmann Foundation, the Wall Street Journal and the McKinsey and Co. business consultancy. /.. https://news.yahoo.com/blogs/envoy/state-suzanne-nossel-named-amnesty-usa-executive-director-181113130.html She resigned in 2013 but it says it all that the took her on. In my experience, the UK version of AI was totally useless on the plight of the Palestinians. I used to attend AI meetings in London. Kristyan Benedict was i/c. Useless. Equivalence was being given to the Israeli position. Good at planting olive trees, ready to be destroyed by the Israelis, and having meals with Palestinans. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kristyan_Benedict Completely wet.
