    Paul Foot was a rare journalist, even back when he was alive and working. Compared to these days, he was working in a completely different profession to the vast majority of MSM "journalists". Pilger is the last of his major contemporaries still going I reckon. He wrote some fantastic books some of which I'm collecting via second hand places. Always digging into the dark areas you weren't supposed to look into.

    Seeing Hislop getting his gurning mug in there is disappointing. He's as far from Paul Foot as you can get.
