The stand out moment from two gibbering gibbons flinging shit at each other and a third one trying to stop them...er I mean the first "presidential" debate was Trump basically making a a call to arms to right-wing militia in general and the Proud Boys in particular. https://twitter.com/AOC/status/1311137948927234049 They have already added the phrase "Stand back and stand by" to their logo and have widely shared on social media how happy they were to have been given the go ahead to "go and #### shit up" (exact quote from a tweet by a leading PB). Astonishing that the moderator, Wallace from Fox (naturally), didn't follow up on Trump's answer. The president makes an appeal to a white supremacist armed militia to attack the left and he just lets that pass. The entire debate was a debacle which should make Americans ashamed to be associated with this shit show. The sooner they burn themselves to the ground the better as long as they don't take everyone else with them. |
