Clandon Park is not a million miles from where I live. It is the home of the Onslows who had connections to the slave trade. To give him his due, the present earl became emotionally affected when Craig Murray was giving evidence to the Joint Committee on Human Rights about having seen human bodies that had been boiled alive. That was when he was the Uzbekistan ambassador and when the UK was colluding with the US and Uzbek government in the use of torture in that country.
Straw (BLiar's Foreign Secretary) had Craig sacked.
