Take it from me, to paraphrase the Nuremburg principle, in the US not being ideologically rightwing is the supreme crime from which all other crimes can miraculously appear and therefrom emanate (give or take the odd petty theft here or there). If you are ideologically not rightwing, all protections all safeguards, all civilized standards go out the window. That is what Julian faces, its really not much of anything to do with journalism, and perhaps not much to do with Trump either, it is deeply systemic. He is an extraordinary person. - Shyaku |
