..and I don't mean just the top page of google, it goes on, and on, through 5,6,7,8 pages of Google and didn't show any sign of ending there. All I was looking for was his bar license, and it was swamped with this video and I wasn't even googling the name of the video. Therefore not surprising the number of views. He will sue, and he will lose. This is not a value judgement, I don't think there is any harm in giving his case an airing in the courts if he wants to, but I looked at the video, and it won't be difficult to argue the opposing case, especially in front of the judiciary where he is licensed. He will simply transfer costs to the opposing side. It's a drop on the ocean to his backers so it is of no consequence to them, like purchasing a publisher or TV network, an indirect investment. They are just showing they have the resources to fund even a losing case, this is the subliminal messages, an implied threat. Its not uncommon actually. Standing up to establishment power is not a bad thing when it helps the little guy. Ralph Nader comes to mind. Guarranteed job security, sick pay, universal health coverage and investment in social services come to mind as worthy aims. |
