    Admittedly this is the FBI who are dodgy as hell but this is a quite amazing case.

    Six people have been charged with a plot to kidnap the Michigan governor, Gretchen Whitmer, that involves links to a rightwing militia group, the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced.

    Another seven people were charged with plotting to target law enforcement and attack the state capitol building. The state attorney general, Dana Nessel, announced additional charges under Michigan’s anti-terrorism law. Seven men, all in custody, are linked to the militia group Wolverine Watchmen.

    These are the same people that were strolling around the state house with assault rifles during the anti-mask/covid demonstrations which was answered with complete indiference by the police.

    Who would have though Drumpf's constant exhortations to "Liberate Michigan", telling far right groups to "Stand by" and all the other race baiting he's been engaged in could lead to this? Well anyone with a half-functioning brain.

    This could of course be another "Terror Factory" style FBI creation; I wouldn't be surprised to learn there was an FBI "undercover" involved and eventually find out that he was the one driving the plot, like so many other documented cases (Newburgh, Libery City, Walkman Grenade boy). However, this would still indicate some of the "deep state" have actively turned against Drumpf at this point which would be interesting on its own.

    The U.S. really seems to be on a knife edge and I'm still not convinced the coming election won't tip it over into some massive civil disobedience at the least and something a lot worse at the other end.

    I just read Palast's latest book on the election rigging that's been going on ("How Trump Stole 2020") and I'd recommend it highly. If you get his regular emails it won't be that much new information but it does seem more effective all in one place at one time. It's astonishingly blatant and almost certainly was responsible for the election of the orange cretin in the first place, along with the absurd gerrymandering that goes on ("Slay the Dragon" is an excellent, quite inspiring, film about the fight against that).

    Of course, almost none of this gets covered in the MSM; instead we get "Putin's internet army rigged the election" nonsense and Madcow losing her shit about things that never happened. God bless America.
