As the number of true cases goes up the number of false positives comes down - see earlier post.

Given that the tracing system is effectively non functioning, if the number of true positive tests goes up I assume most are symptomatic people who have sought tests rather than asymptomatic people given the difficulty of procuring a test. To be very conservative say 1/3 of 15,000 daily positive tests are symptomatic. About 5000

I don't know how many symptomatic people need admission - maybe somewhere between 1 in 10 to 1 in 20. Probably there are more accurate estimates but I've stopped looking at the data - too much intentional obfuscatory fog. Take the conservative estimate. 250/day

From the spring and recent admissions between a quarter and one third of hospital admissions need an icu bed - not necessarily a ventilator.

Then look at the UK capacity to deal with that (below) in comparison with the rest of the world. London was extremely stretched/broken and we have twice as many icu beds as the rest of the country.

In the spring we benefited from lengthening days, a heatwave and at least people were able to walk outside. The winter has not even begun.

The NHS is a bit like Boxer in animal farm. Not long before we are good only for glue. The corrupt pigs are definitely in charge.

My only advice is take high strength vitamin D and take care not to expose yourself unnecessarily during the peak.

    Peace and love x
