They control the digital public square to aid the powerful – and can cancel any of us overnight" -As Cook points out, that's a huge issue and not just for the Palestinian cause. Even if you created a public service platform without politically biased algorithms, how long would it take a few hundred paid trolls to make it completely unusable? And of course when its not the government that doesn't want you debating certain issues, its the vested money interests: "The tech giants..." now the "...wealthiest, most powerful corporations in human history, their riches measured in hundreds of billions, and now trillions, of dollars."
