Johnson asked Sir Alex Allen to tone down his report on Patel. 'The Prime Minister’s adviser on Ministerial Standards Sir Alex Allan has resigned following the Priti Patel inquiry into allegations of bullying. Boris Johnson has judged that his Home Secretary had not breached the ministerial code despite Sir Alex concluding that she had “not consistently met the high standards expected of her”.
