The real issue is the things you mentioned (well a bit more complex- real economy is not just throwing money but sensible industry imo; food, music, trades, etc), but for most people, they can see that's pie in the sky stuff with any of our successive govts. The solution then is to get on and do stuff and #### waiting for the govt or landlords to offer their tokens cos it just ain't happening. A lot of people advocating further and ongoing lockdowns are clearly in a better position than most. Loads of jobs and work lost already, and you don't get furlough if you don't have a job. The people I know are odd job workers, hospitality, musicians, etc. People whose skills and livelihood depend on the low paid work that surrounds bigger industry. There's more focus on maintaining lockdowns/ tightening them than all the forgotten people on low incomes trying to get by (if they're lucky) on a percentage of their low incomes now, with the rent unchanged and the council tax bills just the same etc. I don't understand why focusing on that rather than lockdown as a cure makes it broken record thinking. And I still say that music gives us a reason to live, and such entertainment. Skill sets which take years of dedication and continued daily practise are discarded in the socialist view that says it's all about the money. The world will be poorer and more desperate if this ever ends.
