Here's one obvious distortion from the Mail. It labels her a 'COVID anti-vaxxer', but if you watched her talk, you would know that's a smear. She and her colleagues give very careful advice regarding the covid vaccine. For example, for over-70s they specifically say the individual must make that choice; that, with their current state of knowledge, they could not recommend against the vaccine. And this is the usual trashy tactic of people here - never addressing the *content* of what lockdown-skeptics say (although, I concede, you perhaps can't be blamed for not addressing her content in this instance because Dan has removed it anyway). You hate the right for smearing Corbyn (as 'terrorist') because he appears in the same photo-frame as Hamas; but you're ready to embrace their output if they smear Gold (as 'anti-vaxx') because she appears in the same photo frame as some nutters. |
