Actually, that's a very interesting take, but it would be even more interesting to see it fleshed out a little. Let's try to tease it out a little on the basis of a practical example. Take the offence of aggravated burglary (I assume you do see aggravated burglary as socially objectionable): how precisely would you trea that particular "sickness"? |
