    Probably Margo. That is on the Cummings/Johnson agenda.

    All the well heeled Tory voters round here make massive use of the NHS. They are mostly privately insured but just in case they need some urgent treatment/scan etc in a hurry when there are waiting lists, they go back to the local hospital. All to save increases in their premiums.

    I used to work in the hospital and one of my tasks was to get the PPs' signatures on a form accepting the bill directly and then claiming it back from the insurer. You would be surprised how many knew they did not have sufficient cover and tried it on. We were wise to it of course.

    PS Did you know that in 'Amerika', a large proportion of personal bankruptcies are due to inability to pay medical bills.
