As you say, Big Tech - which works hand-in-glove with security state (Amazon hosts their platforms) - is now going to be boosted by the 'liberal' authoritarian Democrats. Big Tech has already shown in the past few weeks how willing it is to censor on behalf of the Democrats. The Democrats have an animus to any who critique their pseudo-left talking points, because they're scared of being shown for who they are. The Obama-Biden neo-lib slogans like 'right to protect' and 'humanitarian bombing' arguments have worn thin and Biden has little left in his bucket - so invariably the only thing the US can now do is Double Down on the lies, and censor more openly. Big Tech communication platforms are already silencing certain people by shadow-banning and algorithm throttling. On an individual level, the old smear-by-association playbook is back: those who question narrative are again called "conspiracy theorists" (among other juvenile name-calling). One side asks for discussion, the other side issues rude one-liners rather than engage in content analysis. USA now uses Trump and fear of fascism ... to install fascism. The democrats and Tech Companies will use the furry-costumed Capitol Hill coup to say that if you're not for censorship, you're a fascist.
