Up for the job. Sorry. Make that 'Up for the jab'. Archived Message

I received the first dose (Pfizer!) this evening.

No wonder the operation is costing a reported £42billion. The session took place in the large local civic hall where concerts and shows normally take place. It is owned by the borough council.

There were at least 50 uniformed staff on duty acting either as marshals indoors and outside, giving directions and information, checking people in on laptops and then administering the vaccine. A local GP gave me mine.

It was worthy of a receiving station on a war battlefield, minus the blood and gore. There were screens to create cubicles, tables, day beds, green chairs to match the green uniforms of the staff and attendants sanitising chairs and tables each time they had been occupied. I thanked the members of staff who processed me and to one or two, expressed m opinion of Johnson and how none of it would have been necessary had he acted a year ago! I don't think my remark went down very well!
