Last week (four 12-hour nights) the fake lockdown reduced traffic to barely desultory even during the evening rush hour. I began Sumption's Hundred Years War Vol 4: Cursed Kings as the last few books I've read are US translations of German originals and I can't cope with another litany of semi-literate maunderings. The Schlieffen Plan: International Perspectives on the German Strategy for World War I 2014, Hans Ehlert (Editor), Michael Epkenhans (Editor), Gerhard P. Gross (Editor) The Myth and Reality of German Warfare: Operational Thinking from Moltke the Elder to Heusinger 2016 by Gerhard P. Gross (Author), Robert M. Citino (Author) Lossberg's War: The World War I Memoirs of a German Chief of Staff 2017 trans. Zabecki D. T. and Biedekarken D. J. 978-0-8131-6980-4 Translation of Meine Tätigkeit im Weltkriege 1914–1918 (Berlin, Mittler und Sohn 1939)
