Eh? Surely Willem is just following your logic. You're saying the government is not prioritising teachers because it doesn't care about them. That implies that they care about the people whom they are prioritising - the elderly. But I don't think anyone on this leftie board believes the Tories care about the elderly. So it all just comes back to question that hangs over the whole covid drama: what is motivating and driving decisions? It seems that most here believe that the government's agenda is to protect the capitalist economy from the damage of restrictions (lockdowns being the biggest example); and that's why they're always lackadaisical about imposing them.
