You're talking very much like the 'conspiracists' that you dismiss. Archived Message

"Everything this government do is about optics." Yep, that's what prompted by original post: not prioritising teachers is bad optics when it's so incongruent with the rest of their narrative, so the announcement needs explaining. Why not simply say, for example?: vaccine is in short supply; that's why we can't get to teachers for a while (instead of the bizarre suggestion that teachers are at no particular risk). "wetting yourself over the bogey man and taking cheap shots" That's a conspiracy-theory: guessing what others are thinking and feeling and what is motivating them. "isn't a solution" That is exactly the debate that I am interested in (Willem too, it seems). What is the solution? My hunch (from the reading/viewing that I've been doing over the months) is that the masks-lockdowns-vaccines route was never the solution. The solution was immediately to stamp on certain sectors and corporations (air, water, food, et al) that were weakening people's immune systems in the fight against all infections, not just covid. The problem with buying into the vaccine 'solution' is that, now, by that logic, we will forevermore be engaged in a game of whack-a-mole with covid, covid-mutations and the even bigger threats (than covid) that the Gates-funded WHO is already warning about. "It's a marketing campaign for the logical next step." That's what people are arguing about covid: it's a marketing campaign for the next step of keeping all people globally locked-in to vaccination schedules forevermore. I don't know what marketing campaign and logical next step you have in mind, so that sentence of yours, in itself, sounds rather like you're on the same page as the 'covid-deniers'. And you also seem to be saying that the capitalists want to extend control to every part of our lives. Well, now we are indeed massively controlled so, again, you sound rather on the same page as the 'conspiracists'/'covid-skeptics-deniers'.
